about
When you try to write about stuff that you think is important it is easy to get bogged down, especially if you have a lofty focus, which for me resulted in quite the creative paralysis. I am a very grey-zone person, so it is difficult to write anything interesting, since I can't convince myself reliably on many issues. The only thing I seemed reliably convinced of was that I only could do sad music. So I had to write about something that wasn't that important, just writing about spooky autumn nights. At least if you add stars in the lyrics it suddenly makes the lyric seem more important, so I'll get a plus in the corner there.
lyrics
Plenty of stories you can tell,
In fall, where we end the carousel
the coming of the snow
From the arctic up above
Where the bitter wind walks
Before he comes with a sled made of snow
We’ll scare him with our pumpkins and more
‘til he braves up and arrives,
With the coming of the snow
Celebrating every end,
Starting with scaring every friend,
together we still hope
That scarecrows cannot walk
We’ll maybe maybe
Boiling pots in cold frosty nights
And lowly laughs in their armor gives fright
shells of hollow tunes in the light
Gives bass, to barren sleeping trees
I have followed all the stars
Between our moon and all the way to mars
Under cover of the dark
I’ve seen them flying like birds
In weird dimensions
Lanterns flying through mighty skies
To planets that are far out of sight
where they will watch with delight, at
the coming of the snow
Plenty of stories you can tell,
Starting with scaring every friend,
Under cover of the dark
When the scarecrows cannot walk
well maybe maybe
Boiling pots in cold frosty nights,
and planets that are far out of sight,
shells of hollow tunes in the light,
and the coming of the snow
I always found Francis Vace's work to be very evocative but this album takes in to another level, practically assaulting you with the emotions that it tries to convey. Some Anon
It's hard to only pick one track, but I think Professor Dash has to be the most memorable song of the bunch. This is real late-FiM fandom goodness! Arpeggio (Fan Account)
